Privacy Policy
X3M DEBRIEF — PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: 10 June 2026 X3M Debrief is a local-first application. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. 1. NO SERVERS, NO TELEMETRY The X3M team operates no backend for this app. The app sends no analytics, crash reports, usage statistics or identifiers to us or to third parties. 2. WHAT THE APP STORES ON YOUR DEVICE - Your video library: clip files, thumbnails and an SQLite metadata database, all inside the library folder you choose. - App settings (theme, language, library location, preferences) in the standard OS application-config directory and in the app's local storage. - A local debug log (device scans, playback and sync events) you can view and clear in Settings → Developer. 3. CLOUD BACKUP (OPTIONAL) If you connect a cloud account (e.g. Yandex Disk), the app uploads clips directly from your device to YOUR account using the provider's official API. Authentication uses OAuth: the app never sees your password; the refresh token is stored in the operating system's secure keychain, never in plain files. Disconnecting removes the token. The provider's own privacy policy applies to data stored with them. 4. CAMERA CARDS AND FOLDERS The app reads removable volumes to find camera footage. It copies files only into your library folder, on your action or per the auto-save setting. 5. YOUR RIGHTS All data lives with you: delete the library folder, the app config and the keychain entry, and nothing about you remains. Nothing is collected, so there is nothing for us to disclose, sell or share. 6. CHANGES Updates to this policy ship with the app; material changes will be highlighted in release notes. 7.
